JOHNNY AND HIS WIFE

A 21 year old man in 1959 embarked on a new project by taking his unique cooking skills to a small town of unknown specific tastes. Johnny should have been a little nervous, but his confidence in his cooking style shined throughout the town. Johnny soon won over the locals and created a very successful restaurant. From that small diner in Clare, Michigan, he became a seasoned operator performing his signature food dishes for the next 48 years.

Fast forward to 2004, Johnny’s son, Nick, desired to fulfill  his dream of opening up a restaurant in the up and coming neighborhood of East 
Lakeview in Chicago. Nick had a vision of combining Johnny’s signature dishes with a modern twist, and this exciting combination leads to the next generation of Greek Diner 2.0! Have a taste of both generations!
