Father and son team, John and Nick Cocalis, embarked on a business project in early 2004. John was feeling a little restless in his semi-retired role, and Nick was looking to make a move into restaurant management. After talking about their personal goals, they were on a mission to find a totally unique restaurant and give it their personal "Cocalis touch." Although a fire temporarily suspended this favorite Lakeview eatery, John and Nick are back with even more dedication to reintroduce Horizon Café to the community.
